
Donn Lusby is a professional landscape and nature photographer. Lured by the magnificent beauty of Yosemite and rugged Sierra Nevada mountains Donn moved to Oakhurst in 1976. In 1982 he attended the prestigious Ansel Adams Photographic Workshop in Yosemite National Pak where he honed his natural talent for depicting nature in its truest and wildest incarnations.
Donn’s images have been published in Audubon and Mono Lake calendars, Coldwater Creek catalogs and in numerous magazines, on phone directory covers, and in visitors guides to the Yosemite area. Locally his gallery prints grace the walls of United Security Bank, Ducey’s on the Lake, Oakhurst Veterinary Hospital, Loyst Chiropractic, Yosemite Sierra Visitors Bureau, Appleblossom Bed & Breakfast and many private collections. Donn has also contributed many photographs for the Oakhurst Community Park’s Elegant Auction, and has lead photographic seminars in the Yosemite area. Additionally, he’s taught classes at Yosemite Community Education Center Adult School.
